3rd Olympics

The 3rd Olympics (2nd summer games) were held on July 4th in Wellfleet.

The first event was a hunt for cones and tennis balls:

A race inspired by Henry learning to walk, rooster fights, and tug-of-war were unfortunately, not photographed.



This year included "closing ceremonies" with sparklers on the beach at dusk.

July 4th in Wellfleet

As in 2007 and 2008, we spent a fantastic July 4th on the Cape with the entire Wilde Clan (19 people).

During our final weekend in Rome, we took two boat trips on the Tiber from Trastevere up to Piazza del Popolo and back.
