Latest arrival

Congratulations to Jenn and Gunnar on the birth of their little boy Beylen! We can't wait to see him in person. Beylen is the last one born in our little baby boomlet--now it is back to wedding season (let's hope the snow ends first).

not San Diego

We were supposed to be in sunny San Diego with Ryan and Eunice for President's Day weekend, but Jetblue stuck it to us. We were so looking forward to going.

Trying to make the most of a 25-degree weekend, we went to the Dia:Beacon and saw Richard Serra's torqued elipses:

Eileen planned a great birthday celebration of skating, drinks, dinner, and drinks.





We missed Bill. Belatedly, here's part of his last weekend in the city.

Wintry weekend

Despite the freezing weather, my sister Elizabeth's family made a last-minute trip to the big city.
Doing touristy things was really a nice change of pace. There was a great view at the Top of the Rock.

Chris and his ridiculous Carnegie Deli sandwich. I recommend the blintzes.

We headed uptown to meet Nicole and Keith's lovely little Lila. Congratulations on your beautiful baby!

I think she is already daddy's little girl.
