Rome

I took another prep trip to Rome.

One of my distinct memories from long ago was how you kept turning corners and coming upon iconic sights - this trip I stumbled unexpectedly into Piazza del Campidoglio. But I'd not previously experienced Rome as having quaint neighborhoods that you could just wander in - I think this new perspective is the product of having an apartment and settling in.

Henry eats his feet

After sampling the culinary delights of rice cereal and applesauce, Henry has now moved on to a new delicacy - his feet.

Henry's first food

I started Henry on rice cereal this week. He absolutely refused to eat it the first couple of times and acted like I was feeding him poison. Now he will take a few bites but still isn't enamored with it. Maybe the applesauce will go over better.

Stocking

Lauren made a wonderful Christmas stocking for Henry. It complements ours and the adorable advent calendar.

 

Also, congrats to Lauren on the upcoming publication of her paper in the American Journal of Forensic Psychology.

Henry took his first plane flight to go to Cincinnati for New Year's.
