North Dakota

It was another long day in the car as we drove through North Dakota, but luckily, the state is home to some of the largest roadside attractions in the world.

First, we stopped at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, a very pretty park in the Badlands.

It seemed too cold for wildlife sitings, but we finally spotted a buffalo followed by many prarie dogs, much to Eileen's delight.

Then it was on to the world's largest holstein cow...

...and the world's largest buffalo.

We decided to spend the night in Fargo, which has a very nice downtown with a beautiful Art Deco theater.
