Angel Island camping
After 26 hours of travel, we returned home from Hungary on Saturday. On Sunday, Jesse broke his toe. On Monday morning, Eileen woke up sick. On Monday afternoon, we set out to go backpacking. Which one of us put this plan together, do you think?
Regardless, we had a terrific time. We took the last ferry from Tiberon to Angel Island State Park, and only had to share the island with a handful of park employees and campers at 7 other backcountry campsites. We wandered among the old military buildings, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, and gazed at the SF skyline.
